- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 tablespoons warm water
- 1 34 ounces dry yeast
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 cup shortening
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients into a larger mixing bowl.
