- 3/4 c. shortening
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. sugar

1Sift dry ingredients together.

2Cut shortening in.

3Add the yeast and buttermilk.

4Mix with large spoon real good.

5This makes a large bowl full.

6Pinch off each day just the amount you want to bake.

7This keeps a week to 10 days.

8Keep remainder of dough in refrigerator.
