  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 c. sugar

    Beat egg whites, water, salt and vanilla until foamy.

    Add cream of tartar and beat until it stands in peaks.
