  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton heavy cream
  • 1 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • sliced strawberries or peaches

Directions

    Beat egg whites and vanilla until peaks form.

    Add sugar and beat until stiff.

    Combine crumbs, nuts and baking powder; fold into egg mixture.

    Bake at 325° for 25 to 30 minutes in a 10-inch pie plate.

    Before serving, top with whipped cream and fruit. Store in refrigerator.

    Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes.
