- 12 oysters on the half-shell, loosened
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large shallot, minced
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 tsp. white pepper
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. blanched almonds, sliced
Directions

1Arrange the oysters in a baking pan.

2Mix all ingredients except almonds together and blend until smooth.

3Place a heaping teaspoonful of the butter mixture on each oyster.

4Sprinkle with about 5 slices of almonds.

5Bake in a 400° oven for 10 minutes or until almonds begin to brown.

6Serves 4.
