- 6 eggs
- 1 cup sugar caster
- 1 cup flour plain
- 3 teaspoons anise seed
Directions

1Separate eggs.

2Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon-colored.

3Beat egg whites until stiff and combine the two mixtures.

4Gradually beat in the sugar, mix lightly.

5Sift the flour and add; then stir in the anise seed. -Drop from the tip of a teaspoon, about 3cm apart, on a greased cookie sheet.

6Put pans into freezer for 2 hours.

7Bake at 300 F for 12 minutes.
