- 4 ounces butter, softened
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 cup pecans, toasted and chopped
- confectioners' sugar, for dusting
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Beat butter and cream cheese together.

3Add flour, just until mixed.

4If making 24, divide dough into 24 small balls press into mini muffin cups, ungreased.

5Make sure dough rises a bit higher than the sides of cups so filling doesn't spill out.

6If rolling out, cut with 2 inch round cookie cutter and press into mini muffin cups, also make sure dough rises a bit higher than sides of cups.

7Mix the melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla and egg together with chopped pecans, and carefully spoon into cups.

8Bake for 25 minutes.

9Cool 3 minutes and then carefully remove to cooling racks.

10When completely cool, dust with confectioners sugar.
