- 2 c. sliced anise
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 rib celery, sliced, with leaves
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. tomato ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 drop Tabasco
Directions

1Trim base of anise bulb and discard with stalks.

2Cut bulb into 1/4-inch slices.

3Combine all ingredients in a 1-quart casserole.

4Cover with plastic wrap and vent.

5Bake in microwave for 2 minutes on High. Serves 3 or 4.
