- 2 Tbsp. Knox gelatine
- 1/2 c. cooked applesauce
- 3/4 c. applesauce
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. nutmeats
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- powdered sugar
Directions

1Soak gelatine and cooked applesauce for 10 minutes.

2Bring 3/4 cup applesauce and 2 cups sugar to a boil.

3Add the gelatin mixture to sugar and sauce.

4Boil 20 minutes watching carefully. Remove from heat; add nutmeats and vanilla.

5Pour into greased 8 x 8-inch or 9 x 9-inch pan; let stand 24 hours.

6Cut into squares. Roll in powdered sugar and place on waxed paper to dry.
