  • 2 ready made Pillsbury pie crusts (unbaked)
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chili peppers, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1 c. salsa

Directions

    Allow crust to stand at room temperature 15 to 20 minutes. Unfold 1 crust on ungreased pizza pan and press out folds with fingers.

    Sprinkle cheese over this.

    Sprinkle the green chilies. Unfold second crust over this; seal edges with fork.

    Sprinkle with chili powder.

    Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes or golden brown.

    Let cool 5 minutes.

    Cut into small pie shape wedges. Salsa on top adds zest.
