- 250 g butter
- 4 apples, grated
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons allspice
- Topping
- 50 g butter
- 1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Directions

1Melt butter in a saucepan.

2Add grated apple, sugar and egg and beat by hand.

3Stir in sifted dry ingredients.

4Put in lined 20 cm square tin.

5Melt butter for topping, and add remaining ingredients.

6Cover batter with topping mix.

7Bake 180 C 45-50 minutes.

8Serve with cream or sauce.

9The remainder may be eaten as a cake.
