- 2 1/2 c. flour (sift or spoon into cup)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. vegetable shortening
- 1 egg yolk
- milk
Directions

1Mix flour, sugar and salt in bowl.

2Cut in shortening as for pie crust.

3Put egg yolk in measuring cup and fill with milk to 2/3 cup mark.

4Add to pie crust mixture an blend just until mixed. Divide dough in half and roll half on floured cloth to fit into jelly roll pan, 15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch.
