- 1 3/4 cups rolled oats (old-fashioned oats)
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup margarine
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 1/2 cups sliced apples (or more)
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions

1In a large bowl, mix together oats, flour, margarine, baking soda and brown sugar.

3Spread half of the oats mixture in a greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan.

4Press down firmly.

5In a separate bowl, combine apples, 2 T.

6margarine, sugar and cinnamon.

7Spread over the oats mixture in the pan.

8Cover with remaining oats mixture.

9Bake at 375° F for 40-45 minutes.
