Apple Betty

Directions

   Spread the pie filling on the bottom of a 9x9 pan.

   Take the cake mix and spread only 1/2 of it on top of the filling.

   Melt butter and pour over cake mix.

   Sprinkle nuts, if using.

   Bake for 30-45 minutes in a 375 degree oven.

   Serve as soon as desired with ice cream, whipped cream, or any other of your favorite toppings.

   This recipie is easily doubled.
