- 2 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 c. chopped apples
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Peel and chop apples.

3Beat eggs in a large bowl.

4Add sugar, shortening and vanilla to eggs.

5Beat until smooth.

6Sift flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together in another bowl.

7Add dry ingredients and apples to the first mixture.

8Mix all ingredients until blended.

9Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.

10Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
