  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 2 Tablespoons Buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 2 cups Apples, Peeled And Diced
  • 1/2 cups Chopped Pecans (or Walnuts)
  • 1/2 cups Raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoons Cinnamon

Directions

    Cream 1/2 cup of butter, gradually adding sugars; beat until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

    Dissolve baking soda in buttermilk; add to butter, mixing well.

    Stir in flour and cinnamon. Add vanilla. Stir in apples, nuts and raisins.

    Spoon into prepared loaf pans.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cool well and turn onto a wire rack.
