Apple Bread Puddings

- 4 slices white bread
- 1 1/2 c. reconstituted nonfat dry milk
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- dash of salt
- sweetener equal to 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 medium apple, peeled, cored and diced
- 1/3 c. raisins
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Directions

1Toast bread.

2Break into cubes and turn into 8 1/4 x 1 3/4-inch ovenware dish.

3Add hot milk.

4Let stand 15 minutes. Beat together eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and sweetener until light.

5Add apples and raisins into bread mixture. Place into shallow baking pan.

6Fill with water.

7Bake at 350° until knife inserted in center comes clean, 30 to 35 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
