- 12 to 14 cooking apples (16 c. chopped)
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1 c. sugar
Directions

1Cook apples, water and vinegar in crock-pot 10 to 12 hours (cored and chopped apples, not peeled), until they are mushy. Cook on low heat for 3 more hours, then mix cinnamon, cloves and sugar.

2Puree in strainer and return apples to crock-pot.

3Add spices and sugar.

4Cook 2 hours, uncovered, in crock-pot.

5Pour into hot jars and seal.
