  • 2 medium tart apples
  • artificial sweetener (Equal)
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. unflavored gelatin
  • 2 c. water
  • 6 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

    Peel, core and quarter apples.

    Combine in blender with 2 cups water, sweetener and spices.

    Blend until smooth.

    Cook over low heat until thickened, about 45 minutes.

    In blender, sprinkle gelatin over 1/4 cup water and add to boiling apples and puree. Store in refrigerator.
