- 1 gal. light Karo
- 4 lb. sugar
- cinnamon or allspice
Directions

1Put apples with skins on in a tin can in the evening.

2Add Karo and sugar on top; put lid on and don't uncover in the morning.

3Put it on the stove; cook 3 hours.

4Take it off through a colander. Add spice and it's ready to can.
