- 4 lb. well-flavored apples, stemmed and quartered
- 2 c. water
- 3 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/2 c. sugar for each c. of pulp
Directions

1Cook apples in water until soft.

2Strain pulp.

3Blend in blender until smooth.

4To each cup of pulp, add 1/2 cup sugar. Stir in remaining ingredients.

5Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture sheets from spoon (usually 45 minutes to 1 hour).

6Pour into hot sterilized jars.

7Store in cool dry place.
