Ingredients
- 8 lb. apples or enough to make 8 c. thick apple pulp
- 1/2 c. cider vinegar
- 4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
Directions

1Core and slice apples, but do not peel.

2Add only enough water to cook apples until soft.

3Press through a fine sieve and measure 8 cups pulp.

4Add vinegar, sugar and cinnamon.

5Cook combined ingredients until mixture remains in a smooth mass when a little is cooled.

6This will require about 1 1/2 hours gentle cooking. During cooking, stir frequently to prevent burning.

7Pour into sterilized jars and seal while hot.

8To eliminate the possibility of mold forming, process the jars 10 minutes in boiling water bath. Makes 5 pints.
