Ingredients
- 16 c. ground apple pulp
- 3 c. dark brown sugar
- 5 c. white sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. vinegar
Directions

1Mix all ingredients in roaster.

2Bake for 4 hours (more or less, depending on apple pulp thickness) at 300° to 325°.

3Stir every 15 minutes.

4Put clean jars and lids into boiling water to sterilize.

5Fill hot jars with apple butter.

6Wipe off tops with clean cloth.

7Put on hot lids and turn rings tight.

8(Use hot pads.)

9Let set undisturbed to cool.

10Makes about 1/2 pint for each cup of apples.
