  • 1 box applesauce cake mix
  • 1 pkg. butterscotch instant pudding
  • 1 c. water
  • 3/4 c. cooking oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 c. black raspberry seedless preserves or strawberry
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

    Blend cake and pudding mixes with water and oil.

    Then add eggs, one at a time.

    Beat well after each addition.

    Fold in nuts and preserves. Bake in a 350° oven in well greased and floured tube pan for 50 minutes.
