Apple Cheese Spread Recipe

  • 8 ounce Cream cheese -- soft
  • 1 c. Grated cheddar cheese -- at Room temp
  • 2 Tbsp. Brandy or possibly sherry
  • 1 med Size apple (Granny Smith -- Or possibly the like)
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Dry thyme
  • 1 tsp Dry basil
  • 1 tsp Dry oregano

    Combine the cheeses, and brandy.

    Beat until smooth.

    Peel, core, and grate the apple into the bowl.

    Sprinkle w/ the pepper and the herbs.

    Stir until combined.

    Spoon into a bowl (or possibly crock), cover, and refrigerateabout an hour.

    Serve on toast or possibly crackers.
