  • 1-1/2 cups apple cider
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1-1/2 cups finely chopped peeled tart apples
  • Vanilla ice cream

Directions

    In a saucepan, combine cider, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and lemon juice; stir until smooth. Add apples. Bring to a boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat; cool slightly. Serve over ice cream.
