- 1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 (1 lb. 15 oz.) can apple pie filling
Directions

1Melt butter in a 7 x 11 x 2-inch oblong pan.

2Combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt with milk to make batter.

3(If too stiff, add a little extra milk.)

4Pour batter over butter.

5Mix apple pie filling with raisins and smooth gently over batter. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

6Serve warm, topped with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
