- 10 or 12 medium apples
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. brandy extract
- 1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1 1/2 sticks butter or oleo
Directions

1Line 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan with pastry, letting pastry cover sides also.

2Peel and slice apples.

3Cover pastry with 1 cup sugar.

4Place apples over the sugar.

5Cover with 1 cup sugar and sprinkle cinnamon over it.

6Sprinkle with brandy extract and butter flavoring.

7Dot with butter.

8Cover with top pastry, cutting slits in top.

9Brush with cream and sprinkle sugar over top.

10Cook in 350° oven for about 45 minutes.
