- 1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
- 3 to 4 c. sliced fresh peaches
- 1 c. mashed or chopped fresh peaches
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Directions

1Combine crushed peaches, water, sugar and cornstarch.

2Bring to a boil and cook until clear and thick.

3Add butter.

4Spoon this mixture over the sliced peaches which have been put in the pie shell, covering all peaches.

5Chill well.

6Serve with whipped cream.
