- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. buttery Crisco
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. apples, peeled and sliced
- cinnamon
- 2 sticks butter, melted
- 2 c. water
- 2 c. sugar
Directions

1Mix flour, Crisco and milk. Roll out into a dough. Put apples on dough and sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour onto rolled out dough. Roll up like a jelly roll. Cut in slices. Melt butter in pan. Put slices in melted butter or margarine. In a saucepan, bring to a boil the water and sugar. Pour over apple mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Delicious!
