  • 3 1/8 cups apple cider natural
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 apples large, peeled and chopped
  • 6 egg yolks

Directions

    Place the apple cider and sugar into a pot and bring to a boil.

    In a blender, add the apples and some of the cider. Blend.

    Add the apples back into the cider mixture in the pot. Cook the apples down into a jam-like consistency by boiling for another 10 to 15 minutes.

    Remove the pot from the heat and add the egg yolks at once, whisking the entire time.
  5. 5
    Cool and serve in individual containers.
