- 4 cups (1 L) dried apples
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
- 2 tbsp (30 ml) brown sugar
- 1/3 cup (80 ml) butter
- 3/4 cup (175 ml) all purpose flour
- 1 cup (250 ml) brown sugar
- 1 tsp (5 ml) cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) nutmeg
Directions

11. Heat the briquettes for the Dutch oven or get your oven ready to bake at 350°F (175°C).

22. Rehydrate the apples and drain them, reserving 1/2 cup (125 ml) of the apple water.
