- 5 golden delicious apples, peeled cored and sliced (about 6 cups)
- 12 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 12 cup flour
- 14 cup margarine or 14 cup butter
- 12 cup oats
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2In large bowl, combine apples, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.

3Turn into a 6 cup greased casserole dish; set aside.

4In medium bowl, combine flour and remaining 1/4 cup sugar.

5With pastry blender or two knives, cut in butter until mixture is the size of coarse crumbs.

6stir in oats.

7With hands gently squeeze mixture to form crumbs; sprinkle over apples.

8Bake uncovered 45-50 minutes or until apple sare tender and topping is golden.

9Serve warm or at room temperature and if desired, with vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt.
