Ingredients

  • 4 tart apples, pared, cored and cut in wedges
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 6 Tbsp. rolled oats
  • 1/2 c. light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. ground mace
  • 6 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 c. whipped topping (optional)

Directions

    Place apples in shallow 1-quart baking dish.

    In medium bowl, combine dry ingredients.

    Cut in margarine until mixture is crumbly.

    Sprinkle over apples.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 375° for 30 minutes, until apples are tender and top is browned.

    Serve with whipped topping, if desired.
