- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. oatmeal
- 6 medium apples, cored, peeled and sliced
- cinnamon
Directions

1Combine and cut with pastry blender flour, brown sugar and margarine.

2Then add the oatmeal.

3Mix together and put over sliced apples which have been sprinkled with cinnamon.

4I also sprinkle water over this, usually about 1/2 to 2/3 cup depending on whether or not you like a chewy topping (without the water, it will be a more crumbly topping).

5Bake at 350° to 400° for about 30 to 45 minutes.

6You can check doneness by inserting a fork into apple slices.
