- 8 large apples
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. butter
Directions

1Peel, core and cube apples.

2Place in shallow rectangular baking dish.

3Spread with half the sugar.

4Combine remaining sugar, flour, salt and pecans.

5Cut butter into mixture with pastry blender until crumbly.

6Spread over apples, pressing down over and around edges so topping completely covers apples.

7Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

8Serve warm.
