  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 6 to 8 tart apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. flour

Directions

    Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon and set aside.

    Mix remaining sugar with flour and butter until crumbly; set aside.

    Arrange apples on crust and cover with cinnamon mixture; top with crumbly mixture.

    Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes, then lower heat to 350° and bake about 40 minutes or until done.
