  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1-1/4 cups sugar, divided
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1-3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 180 g (about 3/4 of 250-g pkg.) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, sliced

    Heat oven to 350F.

    Combine nuts, 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon; set aside.

    Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder.

    Beat butter, cream cheese and remaining sugar in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.

    Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing well after each addition.

    Blend in vanilla.

    Gradually beat in flour mixture.

    Pour batter into 13x9-inch parchment-lined pan sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with half the nut mixture.
