- 1 cup milk
- 1 medium egg
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 12 cups flour
Directions

1In a medium sized bowl, put the milk, egg, oil, and sugar.

2Beat well with a fork or wire whisk.

3Add the salt, baking powder ad flour.

4Beat again, mixing until the batter is smooth.

5Cook on a hot, well oiled griddle or skillet.

6Use about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake.

7Heat up your skillet and melt a sponful of margarine or bacon grease in it.

8When the fat is almost smoking, drop in about 1/4 cup of batter.

9As it cooks, little bubbles will form around the edges of the pancake.

10The top will begin to dry out a little too.

11When the top is beginning to dry out, and the surface has plenty of bubbles on it, turn the pancake and cook the other side.

12Brown it well and lay it in a plate.

13Repeat until all of the batter is used up.
