Apple Crunch Pudding Cake

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. rolled oats
- 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 6 c. pared, sliced apples
- 1/4 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. + 2 tsp. butter
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
Directions

1Preheat oven at 350°.

2In a large bowl, combine oats, flours, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

3Stir in nuts with a fork or knife.

4Cut in 1 cup butter and combine until the mixture is crumbly.

5Press half the mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan. Toss apples with lemon juice and arrange neatly on top.

6Dot with butter and top with remaining crumb mixture.

7Bake for 40 minutes or until apples soften.

8Cool slightly, then spoon into bowls.
