  • 2 cups drained canned tomatillos (Mexican green tomatoes)
  • 1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeno pepper
  • 1/4 cup (packed) fresh coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • Salt to taste

    Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and process until finely chopped but not a smooth puree.

    Transfer to a bowl and serve with fish cakes.
