  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. black walnuts or pecans
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. flour (plain)
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 3 c. chopped apples

    Preheat oven to 350°.

    Cream oil and sugar.

    Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.

    Sift flour and soda together.

    Add one cup at a time.

    Add vanilla, coconut, raisins, nuts and apples to creamed mixture.

    Blend well.

    Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour and 20 minutes in 350° oven.
