  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. chopped apples (prefer Stayman Winesap)
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    This makes 1 large cake in tube pan or 2 loaf pan cakes.

    Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 25 minutes or bake loaf pans for 1 hour.
