Apple Dumpling

- 8 - 10 apples
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- butter or margarine
- 2 c. water
- 1 can biscuits
- cinnamon
Directions

1Peel and slice apples.

2In a 9 x 13 inch baking dish, put 3/4 c. sugar, 1/2 stick butter and water, set in 325° oven to heat.

3Roll out 10 canned biscuits on floured board about the size of a saucer or a little larger.

4Hold dough in hand and fill with apples.

5Add 1 tsp. sugar and pinch together.

6Put pinched side down in hot liquid.

7Put pat of butter on each dumpling and sprinkle another 3/4 c. sugar on top with cinnamon.

8Bake for 1 hour.
