  • 3/4 c. white Crisco shortening
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • apples, peeled, cored and sliced

    Roll into walnut-sized balls.

    Roll each ball out thin with rolling pin. Fill with apples.

    Form into dumplings and place into baking dish.
