- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup margarine
- 3/4 c. milk
- 6 cups apples
- 2 c. water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Directions

1Mix together flour, baking powder, salt 1/2 c. margarine and milk.

2Roll out 18 x 12-inch.

3Grate apples.

4In saucepan combine water, sugar cinnamon and nutmeg.

5Bring to boil and cook for 5 minutes.

6Add remaining margarine.

7Spread mixture over crust (reserve liquid for later).

8Roll up like a jellyroll and cut 3/4 inch thick pieces.

9Place cut slice sin large cake pan and carefully pour cooked juice over top.

10Bake 425 degrees for 45 minutes.
