- 1 (24 oz.) can applesauce
- biscuit dough, rolled thin
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 stick butter
Directions

1Using a deep ovenproof pan, put water 1 1/2 inches deep.

2Add sugar and butter.

3Boil until thin syrup.

4Roll dough thin; cut into 5-inch squares.

5Put 3 tablespoons applesauce in center of each square and top with pat of butter.

6Bring corners together and seal seams tightly.

7Place into boiling syrup, filling pan. Put pat of butter on top.

8Sprinkle with sugar.

9Bake at 400° until brown.
