Apple Fritters

  • 6-8 cooking apples, any size or type
  • 3/4 to 1 c. sugar
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 cans biscuit dough
  • melted butter

Directions

    Peel apples. Combine apples, sugar and cinnamon together. Cook over medium heat until cooked down.

    Remove from heat. Separate biscuit dough. Roll each biscuit flat.

    Put 2-3 Tbsp. full of cooked apples in the middle of each biscuit. Fold biscuit over and seal by pressing the edges with the back of a fork. Place on a cookie sheet and brush with melted butter. Bake at 350° for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

    Be careful that the edges don't burn because they are thinner than the rest.
