- 3 Apples
- 300 grams Granulated sugar
- 2 tsp Lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
Directions

1Peel the apples and thinly slice into wedges.

2Soak in salt water (using a small amount of salt).

3(Immerse the wedges as soon as you cut them.)

4Drain the apples, and thoroughly remove excess water.

5Put the apples into a saucepan.

6Add sugar and lemon juice.

7Simmer on low to medium heat.

8When the moisture is drawn out of the apples, add the cinnamon.

9When the apples become translucent and tender, roughly mash with a wooden spatula.

10When it looks like this, it's done!

11Pour into sterilized jars right away and turn the jars upside down until cool.

12The jam will thicken once cooled even if it appears thin in the pot when done, so don't worry too much about the consistency.

13Wrap the jars and give them away as gifts!
