- 1/2 c. soft margarine or butter
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix (regular size)
- 1/2 c. flaked coconut
- 2 1/2 c. sliced, pared baking apples
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 c. sour cream
- 2 egg yolks or 1 egg
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Cut butter into dry cake; mix until crumbly.

3Mix in coconut.

4Pat mixture into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan, building up slightly around edge of pan.

5Bake 10 minutes until edges are light brown.

6Do not overbake.

7Arrange apple slices on warm crust.

8Mix sugar and cinnamon.

9Sprinkle on apples.

10Blend sour cream and egg.

11Drizzle over apples.
